Potato Cake ( Arloo Sa Nwin Ma Kin )


This time I would like to share a new recipe that is one of the Burmese desserts which is simple and fast but very delicious, nice harmony with plain tea or Japanese tea, Oocha.

Ingredients:
1. mashed Potato Powder       200 gm   
2. Wheat Flour                      100 gm
3. Sugar                              300 gm
4. Milk                                 250 cc
5. Eggs                                   5
6. Salt                                    1 tsp
7. Butter                             200 gm
8. Coconut Milk                        1 tin
9. An Baking Pan ( 25cm x 20cm x 4 cm )    

How To Make It:
1. Break all the eggs into the bowl to beat until thoroughly mixed.
2. Add potato powder, wheat flour, coconut milk, sugar and salt altogether to stir absolutely mixed, place over low heat. And then add butter to stir well again until become to thicken.
3. At last, add the well mixed eggs to thoroughly stir again and remove from the heat.
4. Transfer to the baking pan evenly which is spread butter, and sprinkle the poppy seeds ( white ) over the surface.

5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degree C for 15 minutes. And then change the oven temperature at 170 degree C to bake 10 minutes again. When the surface is golden brown to remove from the oven and keep to cool. And then, cut into the suitable size or diamond pieces, ready to serve.

Salmon And Tomato Curry


Hi dear everybody !!
I haven`t see you for a long time.
I`m so sorry to be absent to post for my new blog. I always appreciate for your kindness and recommendation guys especially Miki.
This time, I would like to give you simple Burmese cuisine. I hope you will satisfy to enjoy it.

  






Ingredients:
1. Salmon Slice            3 pieces
2. Tomato                   100 gm
3. Onion                      150 gm
4. Garlic chopped          1 tsp
5. Ginger chopped         1/2 tsp
6. Fish Sauce               2 tbsp
7. Salt                        1/2 tsp
8. Turmeric Powder       1/4 tsp
9. Crushed Chill Pepper  1 tsp
10. Salad Oil                 4 tbsp
11. Boiled Water            80 cc
12. Coriander               for garnish

How To Cook:
1. Clean the salmon slice and cut into 3 inches pieces and toss lightly with fish sauce and turmeric powder and keep to leave about 10 minutes.
2. Pound the garlic and ginger. And add the onion and crushed chill pepper together well to make curry paste.
3. Put the already made curry paste to preheated salad oil pan and fry to cook well until fragrant.
4. And then put pickled salmon pieces to fry and toss lightly. Continue cooking well until fragrant again with over medium heat.
5. And then put the tomato and fry to toss again. And pour the boiled water and seasoning to cook well everything about 6 minutes.
6. At last put the coriander on top , cover and turn off the heat.
Really harmony with steamed rice.
